Job summary

Civils & Lintels in Warrington is hiring an HGV Driver to join our team. In this role you will perform multi-drop deliveries and pickups to customers and depots, representing the company on the road.

You will need a valid Category C licence, be a good communicator, and be motivated to work both autonomously and as part of a team. We offer training for HIAB and opportunities to develop within our network.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C HGV licence required.
• HIAB training desirable; training can be provided.
• Knowledge of building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform reliable multidrop deliveries and collections.
• Represent Civils & Lintels professionally when out on the road.
• Assist with loading/unloading and keep paperwork tidy.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report faults promptly.

We're looking for a HGV Driver to join us at Civils & Lintelsin Warrington

As aHGV Driver, you would be representing the company when out of the depot whilst providing an effective and reliable multidrop delivery and collection service to customers and other depots.

To fit the HGV Driver role, you will need to be:

• Able to work on your own initiative, but also willing to work as part of a wider team
• A good communicator who is presentable, approachable, positive and polite
• Motivated, energetic and passionate about your work
• In possession of a valid current Category C HGV licence
• HIAB certificateand experience is desirable, but this training can be provided
• Knowledge of the building industry and building supplies would be an advantage

We’ll support you to gain your HIAB certification if you don’t already have it. Training will be provided by us, and you’ll become fully qualified to operate HIAB equipment. A training agreement will apply, meaning if you leave the business within a set period after completing the training, you’ll be required to repay the cost
