Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking reliable Class 2 Drivers to join our Maidstone team. You will deliver and collect palletised goods to industrial units using tail lifts and pump trucks, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Shifts may vary with 23:30, 04:00, or 16:00 starts, and compensation reflects hourly rates (£16.10–£17.23). The role requires flexibility and a proactive approach to daily vehicle checks and paperwork.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph knowledge are required.
• Experience with tail lifts and pump trucks is preferred.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 2 to 3 deliveries or collections per shift.
• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle.
• Use tail lift and pump truck for loading and unloading.
• Ensure deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out 2 to 3 deliveries or collections runs per shift
• Safely operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle
• Using a tail lift and pump truck for loading and unloading
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing relevant paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph
• Experience with tail lifts and pump trucks preferred
• A good understanding of health and safety
• Professional, punctual, and dependable
