Overview

Driver (HGV) – Based at Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes with European travel

£25,811 plus location allowance of £1,750 and excellent benefits

Responsibilities
  • Deliver consignments and success on an international stage.
  • Packing, bagging, loading and unloading, as well as basic maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Be ready to work as a member of a double crew and undertake prolonged periods on overseas trips.
  • Sleep in your HGV as required and ensure the security and integrity of your load at all times.
  • Follow UK and European traffic and parking regulations and all necessary guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Relevant driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • CPC (DCPC) qualification and a digital tachograph card.
  • Good knowledge of the laws and regulations relating to driving in the UK and European countries.
  • The ability to drive a variety of different vehicles.
  • Computer literacy is a bonus; be prepared to undertake training to drive on airfields if necessary.
