Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with Class 1 vehicles is preferred, and a safety-first mindset is essential.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and ability to navigate efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries to keep the network moving.
• Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading.
• Use GPS and tachographs to manage routes and ensure compliance.

• The Pay: £16.35 per hour + £2.72 per hour night rate premium between 18:00 to06:00 + enhanced overtime rate

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be a key player in our national transport department, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.

• The Mission:Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on HGV-friendly locations.
• Logistics:Manage trailer swaps and oversee live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Tech & Compliance:Use GPS and digital tachographs to manage your route and remain 100% compliant.
• The Face of DPD:Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers across the country. Professional, resourceful, and reliable.
• Safety First:Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and prioritise safe driving in all conditions.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• The License:Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• The Experience:At least 6 monthsexperience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• The Skillset:Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a "safety-first" mindset.
• The Vibe:You’re a resourceful problem-solver who can work under pressure and hit deadlines whilst delivering great service
