Job summary

SRG Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an HGV Collections Driver in the United Kingdom. Salary is £38,000 plus a 15% bonus scheme.

The role operates a 48-hour week, Monday to Friday, working across depots around the UK to ensure the collection service runs smoothly and in line with company policies. You will load waste at residential and business addresses, securely load and deliver to sites, complete admin, stay in touch with the Transport Team, and provide face-to-face customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence with Category C.
• CPC and Digi Tacho.
• HGV2 driving experience (26T) preferred.
• Hiab ticket desirable.

Responsibilities

• Loading waste onto truck at residential and business addresses.
• Ensuring all waste bags collected are securely loaded and safely delivered to designated waste sites.
• Completing all administration required at job sites.
• Keeping in contact with Transport Team to ensure services are carried out in a timely manner.
• Face to face customer service.
