Resolve Recruitment Services in Langar, Nottingham, is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver for a full-time, permanent role. You will drive designated routes, complete collections safely and on schedule, and work closely with your crew.

The position offers a £43,415 annual salary, standard hours Monday to Friday with a 06:00 start (05:00 start on Thursdays), and overtime paid at time and a half. A reliable, safety-conscious team player is essential for long-term progression.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence required.
• Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous HGV Class 2 experience preferred.
• Experience in refuse/waste/local authority work is advantageous.
• Reliable and professional approach to work.
• Strong attendance and timekeeping.
• Safety-focused with driver responsibilities understanding.
• Physically fit for crew-based refuse collection.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle on refuse collection routes.
• Complete refuse collections safely and on schedule.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report defects.
• Work with a crew to complete routes efficiently.
• Follow road, transport and health & safety regulations.
• Maintain professionalism and customer service standards.
• Keep the vehicle clean, safe and compliant.
