Job summary

Driver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our team and work for one of our clients. This job role involves operating a bin lorry and working as part of a crew to carry out local waste collection services based in Stockport.

The role is working Monday to Friday 06.45am starts. Please note that you may be required to help the loaders depending on the work load.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Driving a refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Working alongside loaders to complete daily routes.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring all collections are completed in line with schedules.
• Maintaining a high standard of health & safety at all times.
