Job summary

Manchetts Group Holdings Ltd, a recognised roadside recovery provider in East Anglia, is seeking Class 2 Recovery Drivers with mechanical knowledge. You will join a dedicated team operating from Cambridgeshire or Suffolk, working with the 24-hour control room to perform roadside repairs and recoveries.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in recovery or goods vehicle driving, an up-to-date tachograph card, and a willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Provide great customer service in challenging roadside scenarios.
• Experience with minor roadside repairs and vehicle recovery.
• CPC training (35 hours) preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
• Must hold up-to-date digital tachograph card.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and recover vehicles within a 100km radius typically in East Anglia.
• Work with 24-hour control room to coordinate actions.
• Carry out minor roadside repairs and vehicle recovery.
• Ensure safety of yourself and others at all times.
• Support contracted police work when required.
