Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy operation based in Aston, Birmingham. There is ongoing peak work with consistent weekday shifts, starting from 7:00am, offering a reliable daytime schedule.

The role involves multidrop deliveries, varied routes, and handball duties when required. You will provide excellent customer service, complete vehicle checks and paperwork, and enjoy steady ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Over 12 months' Class 2 driving experience preferred, although drivers with less experience will be considered.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• In-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card. No major penalty points or driving infringements.
• Comfortable with handball when required.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multidrop deliveries and collections.
• Driving across short and long-distance routes.
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out handball duties when required.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork.
