Job summary

An industry-leading logistics company in the Warrington area is seeking HGV Class 2 Multi-drop Drivers. You will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries to a variety of customers, with a focus on maintaining service quality and professionalism. Candidates must have a full UK driving licence, relevant driving experience, and a commitment to safety. The role offers a pay rate of £18.00 per hour and requires availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• At least 6 months of experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Multi-drop experience in the food industry would be beneficial.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Physical fitness and capability to handle manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries in the food industry on pre-planned routes.
• Picking products/orders on the rear of the vehicle during delivery.
• Carrying stock into kitchens/customers' premises.
• Maintaining a high standard of service when interacting with customers.
• Processing paperwork and invoices correctly.

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well‑known and industry‑leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Multi‑drop Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Please note that candidates will be required to attend a 2‑day induction.

Hours: Monday to Friday with Saturdays as and when required, start times between 04:00am - 06:00am

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour PAYE

Location: Warrington, WA5

Job Type: Temp to perm

Role

• Multi‑drop deliveries (food industry) and delivering to a wide range of customers on pre‑planned routes
• Picking products/orders on the rear of the vehicle as part of the delivery process
• Deliveries will include carrying stock into kitchens/ customer premises
• Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves handball, sack truck, roll cage and pallet truck usage.
• Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism when interacting with customers and dealing with any issues as they arise
• Ensuring paperwork and invoices are correctly processed.

Requirements
