Job summary

An established industry player is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver for an ongoing role in Doncaster. This hands-on position requires a strong safety mindset and excellent communication skills. You'll be responsible for conducting daily vehicle checks, loading and unloading materials using a HIAB, and ensuring compliance with all driving laws and safety regulations. If you have a Class 2 licence and a HIAB certificate, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team with a temp-to-perm contract.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.

Job description

HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver - Doncaster

Start Time: 07:00 | Hours: Typically 10 hours/day
Days: Monday to Friday (Ongoing)
Contract: Temp to Perm Opportunity
Pay Rate: £17.37 - £26.06 per hour

Key duties include:

• Conducting daily vehicle and equipment checks


• Loading/unloading materials using a HIAB (Brick Grab)


• Ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately


• Providing a friendly and professional service to customers


• Complying with driving laws and safety regulations at all times

This is a hands-on role suited for someone with good communication skills and a strong safety mindset.

Requirements:

• Full UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence


• HIAB Certificate - Brick Grab experience preferred


• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience


• No more than 6 points on licence - no DD, DR, IN convictions


• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
