Job summary

Restore Plc is recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver - Secure Collections Operative in South Kirkby. You will combine driving with hands-on tasks, visiting client sites, collecting confidential documents and ensuring secure transport for destruction.

Regular manual handling is involved and duties include loading, route planning, and using a PDA to record activities. The role operates Monday to Friday with core hours around 06:00–15:15 and a 45-hour week, no night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence.
• Physically able to perform manual handling.
• Comfortable working around confidential materials and secure processes.
• Good customer service and professional conduct when on client sites.

Responsibilities

• Drive as part of the secure collections team.
• Handle and move waste streams including confidential materials.
• Visit client sites and transport paperwork securely.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues.
• Plan routes and record collection activities using the PDA.
• Ensure all loads are secured and paperwork is completed.
