Requirements

• Enhanced Criminal Record Check: You will need to undertake an "Enhanced Criminal Record Check" or "Baseline Security Check". Please inform us during your application if there are any issues with these requirements.

Skills, Qualifications, and Licences

• HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (essential)
• Team leading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
• CSCS Green Card (preferred)
• Knowledge of legal tachograph procedures (essential)
• ADR - Packages (preferred)

Daily Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle checks on your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t/3.5t vehicle
• Ensure the vehicle is equipped with all necessary specialist equipment for the day's operations
• Lift and pack various items such as furniture, soft furnishings, hardware, and fine art
• Manage goods in and out of storage
• Lift and move loads exceeding 25kg
• Maintain high standards on-site
• Prioritize health and safety for yourself and colleagues
• Provide excellent customer care and service
• Participate in larger specialist projects, including relocations of laboratories and executive offices
• Follow all company and health and safety procedures

As a Class 2 Driver, you will start with a day rate of £130-£140, depending on experience. Benefits include incentives, Employee Discount Scheme, Healthcare, Death in Service cover after 3 months, and 23+8 days' holiday.

Additional Requirements

You will need to undertake an "Enhanced Criminal Record Check" or "Baseline Security Check," involving providing three years of address and employment history, valid ID, and a character reference. Please inform us if there are any issues during your application.
