Job summary

Recon Recruitment are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our Chesterfield team for one of our clients specializing in pallet deliveries across the country. The role involves driving a curtainsider vehicle with around five drops per day and requires experience with tail lifts and pump trucks.

Typical shifts run Monday to Friday, starting around 05:00–06:00, with 10–12 hour days. A Class 2 licence, CPC, Tachograph, and prior HGV experience are essential.

Qualifications

• UK CPC and Tachograph knowledge required
• 2 years HGV experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and reliability

Responsibilities

• Deliver pallets nationwide using curtainsider vehicles, approximately 5 drops per day
• Start times typically 05:00–06:00, Monday to Friday, with 10–12 hour shifts
• Operate pump truck and tail lift as part of daily duties
