Job summary

Access Plus, part of the Briggs Equipment Group, is looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver for a permanent position in Springburn, Glasgow. You will deliver high standards of service, follow transport plans and ensure compliance with transport regulations.

Role includes vehicle checks, tachograph and records management, secure loading/unloading, and customer communication prior to arrival. Hours: Mon–Fri, 42.5 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Licence and CPC qualifications currently held.
• Digi Tacho Card and up-to-date CPC cards are required.
• Good communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Team player with reliable and professional approach to driving and loading.
• Experience loading/unloading access equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of service to all customers.
• Follow daily transport plans and schedules.
• Comply with all current and future transport legislation.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reports via the compliance app.
• Maintain accurate tachograph and transport records.
• Safely load, unload, and secure equipment using straps, chains, and other restraints.
• Keep vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained.
• Report all incidents in line with company and legal procedures.
• Communicate with customers prior to arrival.
