Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver near Waltham Abbey, Essex. The role is a temporary position with a view to permanent, offering a Monday–Friday pattern, around 50 hours per week, with overtime and bonus potential.

The successful candidate will drive and operate HGV Class 2 drainage vehicles as part of a two-person team, performing drainage support work across the highways network.

The Role

You’ll work as part of a two-person team operating specialist drainage vehicles. The role combines HGV driving with hands‑on drainage support work across the highways network.

Key Duties

• Drive and operate HGV Class 2 drainage vehicles (Vacuum Tankers)
• Work alongside an operative to support drainage clearance and maintenance
• Assist in operating specialist equipment to maintain surface water systems
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently

Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Approx. 50 hours per week
• Night shift: 19:00 – 05:00

Pay

• £18.75 – £20 per hour (PAYE)
• Equivalent to£48,000+ basic per yearbased on typical hours
