Job summary

Booker is seeking an HGV Class 2 driver for the Venus business to deliver goods to customer sites and warehouses. You will plan routes with transport managers, secure loads, and complete delivery paperwork while maintaining safety and accuracy. This role requires manual handling and multi-drop experience across local areas.

The position is on-site in the Dudley area with opportunities for efficient warehouse support tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid C class driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Experience with multiple drops to various locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan delivery schedules with transport managers.
• Secure loads and monitor safety during transit.
• Adjust routes based on traffic reports.
• Complete delivery paperwork and logs.
• Load/unload vehicles and assist with warehouse tasks.
• Deliver to customer premises and obtain signed documentation.
• Manage returns as part of the delivery process.
