Job summary

TradeChoice Carpet and Flooring is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to support our busy warehouse. You will transport stock to customers with multi-drop deliveries, ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time service.

A CPC and valid Class 2 licence are essential, along with the ability to lift heavy items and work both independently and as part of a team. You will join a friendly team, receive ongoing training, and have opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving licence (C)
• Valid Driver CPC
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical loading/unloading

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of the HGV to ensure safety and correctness.
• Conduct quality checks upon delivery and obtain customer signatures as proof of receipt.
• Maintain full compliance with tachograph legislation and safety regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained and free from preventable damage.
• Report accidents or incidents immediately following company procedures.
• Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection sheets to the Operations Manager.
