Job summary

The Best Connection are seeking a Class 2 HIAB Driver for their Hull depot. This is a temporary relief cover role with the potential for ongoing work for reliable, professional candidates.

Responsibilities include delivering building materials to trade and residential sites, operating a vehicle-mounted HIAB safely, performing daily walk-round checks and maintaining records, and presenting a professional image at every delivery. Hours are 07:30–16:30, pay £15.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• HIAB certification (ALLMI or equivalent) required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card up to date.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/DR/IN10 on licence.
• Experience in construction supply or merchant industry desirable.

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver for our client, a leading Builders Merchant, based at their Hull depot.

This is a temporary relief cover position, however, there is regular work available for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and professionalism.

The Role:

Delivering building materials to trade and residential sites across the local area.

Operating a vehicle-mounted crane (HIAB) safely and efficiently for loading/unloading.

Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks and maintaining records.

Acting as a professional face of the company at the point of delivery.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

Monday to Friday: 07:30 - 16:30

Hourly Rate: £15.50 per hour.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.

Valid HIAB Certification (ALLMI or equivalent).

Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes)

No DD's, DR's or IN10's on licence.

Experience in the construction supply or merchant industry is highly desirable.
