Job summary

HG Recruitment are seeking professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work in Swindon, with both full-time and part-time options. Roles include day and night shifts based around South Marston, SN3 4TS, and new passes are welcome.

You will be responsible for safe parcel movement between distribution units and customer locations, completing scheduled deliveries with a focus on safety, compliance and customer service. You will also perform vehicle checks and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Recent Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• New Pass HGV Drivers Welcome.

Responsibilities

• Delivering to distribution units and designated delivery locations.
• Conducting vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Loading and unloading goods safely and securely.
• Adhering to Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Maintaining excellent communication with the transport team.
• Completing all delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Representing HG Recruitment and our customer professionally at all times.
