Job summary

The Staffing Network is seeking HGV 2 (LGV C) drivers for our client at the Daventry depot. The role involves delivering goods to clients and handling loads, with a structured schedule from approximately 06:00 to 15:00. Ongoing temp role with potential permanent placements.

Candidates must hold an LGV Category C (HGV 2) licence, with up to 6 penalty points and no DR/IN codes. A Staff Rewards online discount scheme is available to all colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver and handle goods safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive a range of lorries and vehicles to deliver products to clients and their customers.
• Ensure safe handling and transportation to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
• Operate within a structured daily schedule, typically starting at 06:00 and finishing around 15:00.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively with customers about delivery times and needs.
• Coordinate with dispatchers and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
