Job summary

QS Recruitment is seeking reliable Class 2 HGV drivers for the Chesterfield area. You will drive curtain-sided loads nationwide, with early starts around 05:00 and most days finishing around 17:00. Nights out apply to specific runs; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Pay is £14.75 per hour PAYE; weekend work is available. Closing date is 2026-09-09; applicants must have a UK CPC, a valid Class 2 HGV licence and a Digital Tachograph card.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 2 HGV Licence.
• UK CPC certification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loads across the country using curtain sided vehicles.
• Minimal loading/unloading; assistance by specialist crew as needed.
• Occasional nights out on specific runs.

Job Description

Monday to Friday Day Runs!

We are looking for Reliable and Experienced Class 2 HGV drivers to join our well experienced fleet in the Chesterfield area.

Minimal loading and unloading will be required by yourself as this is all handled by a specialist crew. You would be delivering a variety of loads across the country usually in curtain sided vehicles.

Nights out will be a requirement on specific runs.

Hourly Rate: Hourly rates of pay are as follows:£14.75 per hour PAYEPlease note we do not offer Visa Sponsorships

Working Hours: You will generally be starting around 05:00 and finishing around 17:00. for shifts between Monday and Friday, weekend work is available.

Experience & Qualifications

• A Valid Class 2 HGV Licence
• A Valid UK CPC
• A Valid Digital Tacho- Card
• At least 6 months commercial driving experience
