Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Drivers to join a Warrington-based transport operation. The role offers 7:00am starts, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay and full training. Immediate starts are available.

Responsibilities include safe operation of HGV Class 2 vehicles, ADR deliveries, loading/unloading, and daily vehicle checks, using electronic POD systems and maintaining accurate delivery records.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid ADR Certificate.
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences.
• No IN, DR, DD or CD driving offence codes.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use electronic POD systems.
• Reliable, professional and punctual approach.

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 ADR Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation based in Warrington and the surrounding areas.

Day-to-Day Duties

• Safely operating HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Transporting packed ADR consignments and completing low-pressure discharge deliveries
• Completing loading and unloading tasks safely and accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects to management
• Adhering to road traffic laws and driver compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate delivery records
• Using electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems during shifts rather than paper records
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff

Essential Skills

Desirable Experience
