Job summary

Henderson Foodservice in Newtownabbey seeks an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering essentials to customers across the region, with a core 38-hour week and overtime as required.

The role offers lucrative overtime and a 6th day rate, plus a performance-based pay structure and benefits. Training will be provided, with a route to long-term employment at Henderson Group.

Qualifications

• Own and maintain valid Category C licence.
• Driver Qualification Card (CPC) up to date.
• Digital Tachograph Card held and valid.
• Good knowledge of the Northern Ireland road network.
• Deliver outstanding Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure goods at the depot.
• Check delivery paperwork before departure.
• Ensure orders arrive safely, on time and in good condition.
• Obtain correct delivery signatures and record returns.
• Maintain cage control and complete routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, cleanliness).
