HGV Class 2 Driver - Multi-Drop Deliveries

Location: Uckfield | Schedule: Monday to Friday

The Best Connection - a leading recruitment agency with over 85 branches across the UK is currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Driver for one of our valued clients based in Uckfield. This is a temporary position, with potential opportunities for long-term work or temp-to-perm conversion.

Job Role Overview

As a Class 2 HGV Driver, you will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries across the South of England, typically ranging between 12 to 15 drops per day. You'll be the face of the company during deliveries, so excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Conducting pre- and post-vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Use of a pump truck and tail lift required.
• Manual handling (some handball may be involved).
• Maintaining professional and courteous interactions with customers.
• Accurately completing delivery documentation.
