Job summary

A transport recruitment agency is looking for an HGV Class 2 Driver for ongoing work at Stansted Airport. You will collect and deliver catering equipment to aircraft and other locations. Qualifications

Job description

HGV Class 2 Driver. Location: Stansted Airport site (airside & non-airside). Contract: Ongoing. Pay Rate: £18.21ph. Start: As soon as possible. Shifts: Multiple start times, flexible Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and loading catering equipment, bar sets and other goods onto 17-tonne rigid vehicles.
• Driving the vehicle airside and non-airside, ensuring timely and safe deliveries to aircraft or other on-site locations.
• Liaising with cabin crew or airline staff to facilitate transfer of goods to/from vehicles and the aircraft.
• Occasionally delivering stock to other units across the UK.
• Working as part of a team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence - Class 2 (Category C) with no more than six penalty points.
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
• Good numeracy and English skills.
• Flexible approach to start times, shifts, and ability to work weekends if required.
• Must be able to provide 5 years of employment history.
