Job description

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to undertake box trailer work in Hemel Hempstead on an ongoing basis.

Rates: £17ph Monday to Friday and £25.50ph after 50 hours. Pay is direct PAYE with no umbrella processing fees. After your first payment you will receive free access to our perks scheme, giving you exclusive discounts on electronics, travel, clothing, home, fitness, wellbeing and more.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle, making deliveries of carpets.
• Multi‑drop work with heavy handball and a stop‑call wait procedure to maximise productivity.
• Communicate well with the transport team to ensure all deliveries / collections are completed and drivers are informed of possible delays or route changes.
• Shift pattern Monday to Friday each week, with shift starts around 5am.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Driver’s licence.
• CPC card and digital tachograph card.
• Clean licence with no more than 6 points (no TT MS DR DD codes).
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 experience (required due to insurance).
