Job summary

Ashton Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver for Nutts Corner, delivering across NI & ROI. Temporary role with potential for permanent opportunities based on performance.

You will drive safely, perform vehicle checks, load/unload, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Working hours are 4:00am–8:30am start, any 5 days out of 7; part-time considered. Rate £13.20–£15.30 per hour, with a friendly, professional environment and opportunities to advance

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Category C (HGV Class 2) licence.
• Must hold valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV vehicles safely across NI & ROI.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Ensure timely deliveries while obeying traffic laws.
• Load and unload goods as required.
• Provide excellent customer service at each stop.
• Record all required paperwork accurately.

Position: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Nutts Corner
Contract: Temporary (with potential for permanent opportunities based on performance)
Rate of Pay: £13.20 - £15.30 per hour
Hours of work: Any 5 days out of 7, with start times between 4:00am - 8:30am (Part-time will also be considered)

Your Role:

• Drive HGV vehicles safely and efficiently across NI & ROI
• Perform routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
• Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws
• Load and unload goods
• Deliver excellent customer service at every stop
• Report missing or damaged items promptly
• Complete all required paperwork accurately

Essential Criteria:

• Valid UK Category C (HGV Class 2) Licence

• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph

• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude

• Strong work ethic
