Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking a HGV Class 2 Driver (Customer Service Delivery Driver) to join our local delivery team. You will be the face of our business, delivering to customers and providing first-class service in a friendly, professional manner.

The role includes weekday day shifts with set starting times, regular delivery areas, and no rotas, evenings, or weekends. It offers a permanent contract and a salary of £36,000 per year, with initial and in-house training provided.

Qualifications

• Category C licence with no points and able to drive up to 13.5 tonnes.
• Adequate CPC to drive a Category C vehicle.
• A digital tachograph card.
• Preferable multi-drop experience.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Physically active in nature.
• Good spoken English.
• Initial and in-house training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver local daily routes and interact with customers to provide first-class service.
• Be the face of JJ Foodservice, ensuring friendly, professional interactions with customers.
• Maintain set starting times and regular delivery areas; avoid evenings and weekends.

We Are Looking For Applicants Who Have

• Category C license with no points and can drive vehicles up to 13.5 tonne

• A physically active nature
• A good standard of spoken English
• Initial training and in-house training will be provided
