Job summary

Pure Staff's Driving Team in Highbridge seeks experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for ongoing nationwide haulage work with a long-standing customer. Monday to Friday tramping, usually 06:00 starts, 10-hour shifts, staying with the vehicle during the week and returning home at weekends.

Rates: Monday-Friday days £17.00ph (£19.05ph with holiday pay rolled up); Saturdays occasionally £20-£22.97; night out £25 per night. Roles emphasize direct PAYE, weekly pay, and clear pay arrangements.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E Licence and Driver CPC required.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (12 months preferred).
• No more than 6 penalty points and willingness to tramp Monday to Friday.
• Professional, safety‑conscious attitude and understanding of tachograph rules.

Responsibilities

• Undertake nationwide general haulage deliveries using modern tractors.
• Tramping work Monday to Friday with weekly home weekends.
• Maintain vehicle safety checks and comply with driver hours regulations.
