Job summary

Kinaxia Derby is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team at the Belper site. Nights shifts available; we’re looking for reliable drivers who prioritise safety and excellent service as part of a supportive team.

As a Class 1 driver, you will complete daily vehicle checks, deliver and collect goods, and adhere to tachograph rules and the Working Time Directive. A full LGV C+E licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card are required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence required.
• Driver CPC / DQC and Digital Tachograph Card must be held.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Arrive on time for duties and inform the traffic office of any issues.
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements, and the Highway Code.
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times.
• Carry out deliveries and collections in line with manifest.

About The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy
• Arrive on time for your duties and keep the traffic office informed of any issues
• Follow all company procedures, customer requirements, and the Highway Code
• Maintain high health and safety standards at all times
• Carry out deliveries and collections in line with your manifest
• Comply with EU tachograph regulations and Working Time Directive (WTD)
• Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and well-maintained

What We're Looking For

• A full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) / Driver CPC
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong communication skills
