Job summary

Panda Waste is seeking a reliable Hooklift driver for our Wolverhampton depot. The role requires ADR experience, a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with Driver CPC, and current Tachograph card. You’ll work on established routes with a supportive local team.

Typical hours are early starts (05:00–17:00) Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Competitive pay includes overtime and daily/meal allowances, contributing to a stable, full-time position within a growing waste management company.

About The Role

Join Panda Waste at our Wolverhampton depot (WV1 2HS) and drive for a cleaner, greener future.

We are looking for a reliable, professional driver for a Hooklift with ADR experience.

The Pay & Perks

• Payrate: £16.22
• Overtime: x1.5 after 45h
• Early Start Bonus: £10.00 extra per day (for starts before 04:30)
• Daily Bonus Potential: Up to £13.00 per day (£65 per week)
• Allowances: £3.00 daily meal allowance plus £26.50 night-out allowance (tramping) when required

The Schedule

• Status: Full-Time, Permanent
• Hours: Monday – Friday (Occasional Saturdays)
• Shift Times: Typical window between 05:00 and 17:00
• Stability: Consistent routes and a supportive local team

Key Responsibilities

• Operating Hooklift vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Conducting daily vehicle safety checks and compliance reporting.
• Maintaining digital tacho records and clear communication with the depot.

Requirements

• Licence: Valid UK HGV Class 1 & Driver CPC.

• Insurance: Must be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
