Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment in Thurrock is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy depot. You will trunk parcels between distribution sites, perform daily vehicle checks, and follow planned routes to meet delivery schedules.

The role offers flexible shifts and competitive pay (£21.44–£24.57 per hour) plus holiday pay. A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, and at least 12 months of experience with a clean tachograph/history are required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (Category C+E) is required.
• Valid UK Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience.
• Fewer than 10 tachograph infringements in the last 12 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements or convictions.
