Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers in Northampton to work with a national chilled and ambient logistics provider.

You will drive Class 1 vehicles on 100% trunking assignments, complete standard paperwork and carry out routine vehicle checks. Weekend work is required, with full or part-time shifts and immediate starts available. LTD and PAYE drivers are welcome.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driving Licence with at least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid UK DCPC card.
• Valid Digi‑tacho card.
• Up to 6 points on licence accepted; DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements not accepted.
• UK resident – no assistance for visa holders.
• Ability to travel to and from the site for your shift.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV Class 1 vehicle for 100% trunking work.
• Perform industry standard vehicle checks.
• Complete standard paperwork.
