Job summary

The Best Connection Group Ltd are recruiting professional and reliable Class 1 Drivers for a trunking role based in Stoke-On-Trent. The position is a temp to perm opportunity with structured, consistent work and a 5am start.

Key duties include daily vehicle checks, safe trunk runs, and liaising with transport teams. Overtime applies after 8 hours. Monday to Friday shifts with no weekend work and competitive hourly rates from £16 to £24.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 1 Licence (C+E).
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous Trunking or general haulage experience preferred.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Class 1 Driver - Temp to Perm - Immediate start

Class 1 Drivers to join a well established company based in Stoke-On-Trent, predominantly carrying out trunking work. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering consistent, structured work.

• Start time is 5am
• Overtime opportunities available - after 8 hours pay increases
• from £16 to £24

• Daily Trunking (x2 runs) between Stoke and Huthwaite
• Curtainsider work - driver must be comfortable strapping and unstrapping loads.
• Drop and swap trailer operations

Will be required to provide

holiday cover on night shifts when necessary.
