Zusammenfassung

Lineage Logistics is recruiting for a UK-based driver on night shifts. You will hold a C+E licence with DigiTacho and CPC, perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries, and ensure loads are secured and compliant with regulations. English communication is essential as you coordinate with the team and customers.

Average working hours are around 50 per week, with overtime paid after 39 hours. Basic hourly rate is £15.61 plus a £55 weekly shift allowance, paid weekly.

Qualifikationen

• C+E driving licence required.
• DigiTacho and CPC valid.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Aufgaben

• Ensure vehicle is legal and roadworthy; complete daily checks and report defects.
• Load correct goods and secure them before moving the vehicle.
• Perform trunking and multi-drop deliveries in line with the law.
• Confirm deliveries with customers, obtain signatures and paperwork before returning to depot.

Jobbeschreibung

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.


• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.


• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).


• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot., Overtime after 39 hours paid at time and a half.
