Job summary

Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing store distribution work with a leading food distribution client in the United Kingdom.

You will deliver chilled, frozen and ambient food products to supermarkets and stores across the UK, operating refrigerated articulated vehicles with temperature-controlled trailers. Expect 2–3 deliveries per shift, strict adherence to Driver’s Hours Regulations, and a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year’s Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Refrigerated/store delivery experience desirable.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, frozen and ambient products to retail stores.
• Complete 2–3 store deliveries per shift.
• Operate refrigerated Class 1 articulated vehicles.
• Use tail lifts and electric pump trucks for deliveries.
• Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.

Millison Chase Limited is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing store distribution work with one of our leading food distribution clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional Class 1 (C+E) Drivers looking for regular work delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient food products to supermarkets, retail stores, RDCs, NDCs, and convenience outlets throughout the UK.

The role involves operating modern refrigerated articulated vehicles fitted with temperature-controlled trailers, ensuring products are delivered safely while maintaining the cold chain throughout the journey. Drivers will normally complete 2 to 3 local store deliveries per shift, with routes carefully planned to maximise efficiency and remain fully compliant with Driver's Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.

Deliveries are completed using tail lifts and electric pump trucks, with goods supplied in roll cages or palletised loads. Drivers will be responsible for safely unloading at store locations while providing excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent work, excellent PAYE rates, and direct employment through Millison Chase Limited.

• Days: £20.00 per hour
• Nights: £21.00 per hour
• Weekends: £20.00 per hour
