Job summary

Challenge Trg Recruitment is seeking a Class 1 HGV driver for trunking work in Warrington. This ongoing position offers various shifts including days, afternoons, nights and weekends, with opportunities for full-time or part-time hours.

You must hold a valid UK C+E license, DCPC and a Digital Tachograph, plus knowledge of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations and strong communication skills. The company boasts a large, well-maintained fleet and supportive management.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence.
• DCPC qualification and Digital Tachograph.
• Knowledge of Drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Ability to perform and report vehicle checks.
• Excellent communication and flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 HGV for trunking work.
• Follow shifts including days, afternoons, nights and weekends.
• Maintain vehicle safety and carry out pre- and post-trip checks.
• Report defects and comply with relevant regulations.

Pay Rate: Up to £19.95 Per Hour (£2 an hour rate uplift from 22/11/2026)

Job Type: Ongoing Position, Ideally 1 Month experience desired, however New Pass are accepted!

Shifts: Days, Afternoons, Nights and Weekends Available. All shift patterns accommodated!
