Job summary

Frontline Recruitment National is seeking HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E drivers for 1-drop trunking work based in Swindon, Wiltshire. We offer day shifts (Mon–Fri) and night shifts (Sun–Thu), with both day and night patterns available and a focus on trunking rather than multi-drop deliveries.

This role requires a valid UK HGV Class 1/C+E licence and a Digital Tachograph Card, with a good grasp of drivers' hours regulations and a professional attitude toward vehicle safety.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 / Category C+E driving licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Professional attitude towards vehicle safety.
• Able to work independently.
• Previous Class 1 trunking experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive articulated HGV vehicles on trunking routes.
• Follow planned trunking routes and schedules.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks before and after trips.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.
• Complete relevant transport paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to drivers' hours and tachograph regulations and road laws.
• Collaborate with transport and depot teams to maintain service levels.

We're recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers, LGV C+E Drivers and Artic Drivers for 1-drop trunking opportunities based in Swindon, Wiltshire.

If you're looking for regular Class 1 driving work without the hassle of multiple delivery drops, we'd love to hear from you!

We have both day and night shift opportunities available.

Shifts & Working Patterns

DAY SHIFTS

• Monday to Friday
• Regular weekday driving work

NIGHT SHIFTS

• Sunday to Thursday
• Friday and Saturday nights off

THE JOB – 1 DROP TRUNKING

• HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E trunking work
• Driving articulated HGV vehicles
• Following planned trunking routes
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
• Completing relevant transport paperwork
• Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• Complying with road traffic laws and company procedures
• Working professionally with transport and depot teams

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
