Job summary

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to work with a long-standing client based in Hereford. This role offers immediate starts and flexible patterns, with day, night, weekend, or fixed rota options to suit your lifestyle.

As a Class 1 Driver you will transport palletised goods on nationwide routes, complete 1–3 deliveries per shift, and maintain high safety and paperwork standards while earning competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence is required.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete the safe and timely delivery and collection of palletised goods.
• Carry out nationwide distribution and collection work.
• Complete between 1 and 3 deliveries or collections per shift.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
• Ensure all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.
• Adhere to all driver hours and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with transport teams and customers.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach.
