Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment in Chelmsford is looking for skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading national logistics network. You will perform trunking between distribution sites, uphold top safety standards, and work to planned routes with on-time deliveries.

The role offers hourly rates from £21.99 to £25.12 plus holiday pay. Requirements include a valid HGV Class 1 licence, UK Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, at least 1 year of Class 1 driving, fewer than 10 tachograph

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• UK Driver CPC and Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.
• Fewer than 10 tachograph infringements in the last 12 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements or convictions.

Responsibilities

• Transport parcels between distribution sites.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards.
• Follow planned routes and adhere to scheduled delivery times.
• Ensure compliance with driving regulations and company procedures.
