Job summary

People Providers is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a trunking role in Cannock. The position offers a fixed, ongoing shift pattern with guaranteed minimum pay for 8 hours per shift and start times that can be arranged to suit you.

You must hold UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC and Tachograph card, with at least 6 months UK experience. Expect 40–60 hours weekly, with consistent, reliable work and RHP pay protections.

Qualifications

• A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience in the UK.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
• Strong reliability and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive trunking operations on fixed ongoing shifts.
• Comply with UK driving regulations and tachograph rules.
• Maintain accurate records of hours and tasks.
• Ensure safe vehicle operation and vehicle checks as required.
