Job summary

Driver Require are recruiting professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing, full-time work with one of our prestigious clients. If you're looking for regular shifts, excellent pay rates, and long-term stability, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be working as part of a two-person crew, alongside a driver's mate, delivering caged goods and totes to retail stores during overnight and early morning shifts.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence required.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements).
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours & Working Time Regulations.
• Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work.
• Ability to complete a paid assessment and induction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver caged goods and totes to retail stores, overnight and early morning shifts.
• Work as part of a two-person crew with a driver's mate.

The Role

You'll be working as part of a two-person crew, alongside a dedicated driver's mate, delivering caged goods and totes to retail stores during overnight and early morning shifts.

Shift Pattern

Start Times range from: 18:00 - 03:00

Working Days: Friday - Monday

Average Shift Length: 10-12 hours

Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shift

Paid breaks

Overtime paid after 10 hours

Pay Rates (PAYE, before holiday rate)

• Days: £21.28 ph
• Nights: £23.00 ph
• Overtime: £24.73 ph (after 10 hours)
• Saturday: £24.73 ph
• Sundays: £25.88 ph
