Job summary

Owens Group, one of the UK's leading family-owned Transport, Warehousing & Distribution companies, is hiring a Full-time HGV Class 1 Driver in Carrington. You’ll work day/night shifts on a 4 on/4 off pattern across nationwide routes with a modern fleet.

Guaranteed weekly pay, plus a £500 joining bonus after 3 months, and benefits including pension salary sacrifice, Life Assurance, uniforms and PPE, and CPC courses.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid HGV C+E licence and Fitness to Drive
• Driver Qualification Card (ADR where required) and Tachograph knowledge
• Proven safe driving record and compliance with legal regs

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles on assigned routes
• Complete shifts on a 4-on/4-off pattern, delivering nationwide
• Adhere to legal and company safety standards and paperwork

Role: Full-time HGV Class 1 Driver

Shifts Available:
Days - 4 on 4 off Mon to Fri Tue to Sat Wed to Sun
Nights - 4 on 4 off Mon to Fri Tue to Sat Wed to Sun
Pay: Competitive weekly guaranteed earnings

£500 joining bonus payable after 3 months employment

What You'll Earn

£170 per shift (up to 11 paid hours) including £10 tax free daily meal allowance
All breaks paid
Overtime: £17.50/hr (after an average shift length of 11 hours depending on working week)
Night Shifts: £20 night shift allowance per shift
Weekend bonus: £20 per Saturday/Sunday start
Extra Shifts: £20 bonus for shifts that aren't part of your standard shift pattern
