Job summary

Menzies Distribution Solutions is looking for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Scunthorpe team, delivering and collecting on behalf of our clients. The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday days pattern and a 50-hour week, with salary paid monthly.

Applicants should hold a full UK C+E licence and ideally have 2 years of Class 1 driving experience, with no more than 6 points and good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations. A range of company benefits is provided.

Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for a HGV Class 1 Driverto join us, providing a first class service with our team inScunthorpe. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf ofMenzies Distribution Solutions Limitedand its customers.

The Details:

• Salary: £39,782.05 Per Annum, £15.30 Per Hour
• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Days
• 50 hours per week
• Location; Scunthorpe
• Monthly Pay

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations
• Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 2 years previous class 1 driving experience (desirable)
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
