To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot.

Shift Available: HGV Class 1 Driver – Monday‑Friday days

Rate of pay: £15.90 per hour. You will be paid at time and a half rate for any hours worked over 39 hours each week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times – all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi‑drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers’ working time regulations).
• Double‑check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot.

• Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in‑date DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Someone who can lift up to 18kg.
• Ability to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
