Job summary

KINAXIA in Stalybridge is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our busy logistics team. You will be responsible for safe, efficient deliveries and maintaining compliance with all regulations and customer requirements.

The role offers a full-time days schedule with 40 hours per week plus overtime opportunities, onsite parking and a strong benefits package to support drivers.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements: Full LGV C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to operate
• Arrive on time for all scheduled duties and communicate any delays or issues to the Traffic Office
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code at all times
• Maintain high standards of health and safety
• Complete all deliveries and collections as specified on manifests
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
• Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable
