Job summary

Adapt Logistics in Carrington is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to deliver and collect goods using curtainsiders. You will move palletised loads across varied routes for well-known retailers, with PPT operation where needed, typically around 10-hour shifts.

Earn £17.00–£19.50 per hour with holiday pay options; premium rates apply for nights, weekends, and holiday work. A reliable driver with up-to-date CPC and EU hours knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid C&E licence with minimum 6 months in C&E driving.
• No more than 6 minor points on licence.
• DCPC card held and valid.
• Understanding of EU Driver hours and WTR rules.
• Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods using a curtainsider trailer.
• Move palletised goods; operate PPT where required.
