Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting an HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver to join our Heathrow operation. You will transport mail between national sites, perform vehicle checks and adhere to safety standards, with shifts at Heathrow and surrounding depots.

The role offers an hourly rate of £22.20–£25.32, weekly pay, holiday accrual and a pension. Candidates must hold a valid HGV 1/C+E licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and meet vetting requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 1+ year.
• Valid CPC + Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 12 months.
• Max 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.
