Job summary

HG Recruitment in Harlow is hiring experienced HGV1 drivers for stored delivery work with a major high-street retailer. Deliver chilled and ambient goods nationwide with a rolling 6-week rota and a guaranteed 40 hours a week. Temp-to-perm opportunities are available for the right candidates.

Shifts average 10 hours, with start times from 16:00 to 20:00. PAYE rates range from £18.99–£28.48 hourly depending on day, night, Saturday and overtime, with paid breaks and a 24/7 support service and

Qualifications

• Valid HGV1 licence with at least 1 year experience.
• CPC Certification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver chilled and ambient goods nationwide.
• Adhere to hours and Working Time Regulations (WTD).
• Maintain professional, customer-focused approach with clients and customers.
• Utilize driver portal and communicate with team regularly.
